Charles Lang, II, the husband of Rosie Lang of Marks, died at his home on Saturday, February 10, 1996, at the age of 76.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, February 17, at 1:00 p.m. at Quitman County High School in Marks.

Lewis, Hazel Francis
Hazel Francis Lewis, 82, died Tuesday, January 28, 2003, of cancer.
Services were on Thursday, January 30, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Regina’s Catholic Church in Parsons, TN, with Father J. David Graham officiating. Interment was at Crossroads Cemetery with Parsons Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a son, Edmond Hatley of Steel, MO; a daughter, Linda R. Mitchell of Parsons, TN; two brothers, Charles Corbin of Parsons and Billy Corbin of Mississippi; a sister, Mable Hatley of Hayti, MO; and three grandchildren, Jennifer and John Mitchell and Teresa Cecil; and one great-granddaughter, Tanner Cecil. One granddaughter, Tiffany Mitchell, preceded her in death.

Bernice Jones Little of Lambert, 93, homemaker, died Sunday, December 17, 2000, of heart failure at the Quitman County Hospital in Marks.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks with burial in the Lambert Cemetery. The Rev. Don O’Quin officiated.
Born October 3, 1907 in Mississippi, to the late Dan and Leona Cox Jones, she was a member of Lambert First Baptist Church.
The widow of A. D. Little, she leaves two daughters, Jenelle Norwood of Drew and Jack Marie Hastings of Lambert; three sisters, Ruth Yarber of McGee, Elizabeth Pickett of Pope and Martha Blanchard of Magnolia, AR; a brother, Grady H. Jones of Clarksdale; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to Lambert First Baptist Church.

Carol Eugenia Little, 58, homemaker and secretary for Little Real Estate Co. of Greenwood, died Monday, October 9, 1995, of heart failure in Greenwood. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home with burial in Pauls Cemetery in Tallahatchie County. Rev. Russell Fletcher and Rev. Allen Bailey officiated at the services.
Mrs. Little was born in Memphis and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Gore, Sr. of Marks. She graduated from Marks High School and attended Delta State University.
Mrs. Little was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church of Greenwood. She was also a member of Cotton Landia Museum and La Bonte Women’s Club. She was a volunteer with the Greenwood Food Pantry.
The wife of Raymond G. Little, she also leaves three daughters, Rev. Carol “Lynette” Little Altman of Lula, Linda Louise Little Malone of Petal and Lisa Guyanne Hargrove of Greenwood; a sister, Imogene Gore Early of Jackson; and two grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.
The family requests that any memorials be sent to the Cancer Closet of La Bonte Women’s Club or St. John’s United Methodist Church.

William Franklin Logan of Lambert died February 9, 2011, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A retired mechanic for the Federal Compress, he was 81.
Services were February 11 at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks with the Reverends Jerry Wages and Don O’Quin presiding. Burial was in Lambert Cemetery.
Mr. Logan was born in Jonestown, MS, August 28, 1929. He was a member of Lambert United Methodist Church and the longtime caretaker for the Lambert Cemetery. He loved to garden.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie Gordon Logan of Lambert; two daughters, Mary Jane Russell of Lambert and Beth Brown (Mark) of Brunswick, GA; three sons, Frank Logan, Jr. (Linda) of Collierville, TN; Ken Logan and Allen Logan, both of Lambert; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Lambert Cemetery, P. O. Box 23, Lambert, MS 38643.
