For tireless effort and outstanding results among our young people in Quitman County goes a ceaseless vote of appreciation to Miss Ruth McNeely, English instructor at Lambert High School.  For the past eighteen years, parents and students alike from all over the county, state, and nation, who have enjoyed the instruction and association of this fine lady, come this unanimous evaluation of her wonderful ability and personality.

A scoreboard of Miss McNeely’s stewardship with Quitman County’s young people who received instruction under her and who have gone on to finish into the several professional fields are herewith submitted.

Three members of her classes have been honored with membership in Mortar Board in their respective colleges.
